Get to know our project.
This website features many photos that were shared in the classroom, during lectures, and published in books. However, some photos had not been disclosed before. My dissatisfaction with the lack of disclosure, combined with the support of my friends, motivated me to make them available here.
My initiative and curiosity for plant disease photography were sparked by Professor Erlei. In 1989, he introduced me to his camera, a Canon FTb, FD 55mm lens, three close-up rings 58mm +1, +2, and +4, all of this packed in a somewhat worn light brown leather bag. He taught me how to handle it, entrusting me with many of our photos, most of which were developed into slides.
